Wonderful Swim Instructors

Only the best for Samantha's Learn to Swim (SLS). These wonderful people are fully certified in Standard First Aid and National Lifesaving Society, and have experience being a swim instructor for several years. They have a passion for developing strong swimmers and use a gentle and constructive approach to foster strong swimmers - children and adults, alike. Additionally, they have experience working with individuals who have ASD (autism) and go through special training , with SLS, for ASD.

Rastin Ganji

I'm Rastin, and I'm thrilled to be one of your experienced swim instructors! I am committed to your safety and creating an engaging learning environment.

I've had the pleasure of working with individuals of all ages and skill levels over my years of teaching. When it comes to lessons, I believe in making the lesson plans exciting and interactive, while catering to each student's unique learning style. Whether you're starting your aquatic journey and need a boost of water confidence or you're a pro looking to refine your strokes, I'm here to make it happen.

Samantha Chisholm

Hello. My name is Samantha and I am honoured and thrilled to a be one your aquatic instructors here at Samatha's Learn to Swim. I am the owner and the senior swim instructor. I am so very passionate about being a form of guidance and support for new and avid swimmers, alike.

A bit about me: I have been a certified swim instructor, with the Lifesaving Society Board for12 years and have worked at various swim-instructing organizations. In additional to instructing, I am also very passionate about supporting individuals with autism, and work as a behaviour therapist during the school year. I can't wait for another amazing year!

Evelyn Carey

Hello, my name is Evelyn and I am so very happy to be one of your aquatic swim instructors! Over the last eight years as a swim instructor, I have had the pleasure of teaching those of all ages and capabillities. I primarily teach those with special needs and youth around the ages of 2-8 but I have experience with everyone, from infants to seniors!

My goal is to help my students feel confident and safe in the water. My promise to you is that I will create a safe, supportive and engaging environment while catering to your every unique swimming needs. My 8 years of swimming instruction is yours to learn from, I can't wait to meet you!

Sophia Soulis

Hi everyone! My name is Sophia and I am 24 years old. Swimming has been a huge part of my life for a long time and I am motivated to share my experience with other swimmers.

I began as a competitive swimmer for 7 years, then I was a lifeguard for 5 years, and I’ve been passing on my love for swimming as a teacher for 6 years now.

Swimming is not only a fundamental skill when it comes to water safety, but I teach because it allows me to watch my swimmers grow and develop that same passion I have for the sport.
